Get ready for some Groovin’ – Top 10 Artists!

It is not long now until the stages are set up, the artists arrive and the crowd pours in for this year’s SOLD OUT Groovin’ the Moo (GTM) at Maitland Showground on Saturday. This year’s line up is sure to impress anyone - so here’s our Groovin’ the Moo top 10 bands you can’t miss!
1. Architecture in Helsinki
This will be Architecture in Helsinki's third visit to GTM. Each time they just get better and better! We predict that the bands huge on-stage presence will have everyone on their feet this year!
2. Illy
Australian artist Illy recently sold out his tour through Australia and is heading straight to Groovin! His recent album Cinematic released in 2013 has become one of his biggest hits so far! Definitely not-to-be-missed!
3. Thundamentals
Originating from just outside Sydney this three-piece hip hop group are heading to GTM this year off the back of a festival filled 2013. Well-known for single Something I said and Smiles Don’t Lie – these guys are sure to keep the crowd entertained.
4. Dizzee Rascal
Are you a Bassline Junkie? Well you will be by the time Dizzee Rascal finishes his set this year at Groovin! The UK based rap artist produces creative sounds, great lyrics and a heavy bass that promises to deliver an amazing show.
5. Disclosure
Nominated for best Dance/Electronica Album at the 2014 Grammy Awards, Disclosure will bring another set of killer electronic beats to their GTM set.
6. Kingswood
The four-piece rock-band from Melbourne are sure to get people dancing along this year at GTM. The band has toured with the likes of The Living End, British India and The Saints so crowds can expect a rocking show full of energy!
7. Parkway Drive
Parkway Drive has been producing music for 10 years and will be celebrating by bringing crowds an amazing set at GTM.
8. The Jezabels
The Jezabels paid a visit to Groovin’ the Moo back in 2011 and are bringing back their popular indie, alternative rock and disco pop sounds this year.
9. The Jungle Giants
Triple J Unearthed artists The Jungle Giants will be bringing their indie-pop sounds and energized vibes to this year’s show.
10. Vance Joy
Last but not least, Triple J’s Hottest 100 2013 winner for hit Riptide will be killing their on-stage performance this year in a set fans won’t forget!
On top of all the amazing bands that will be playing this year, any festival-goer should remember to bring enough money for food, drinks (alcoholic if over 18+) and water. Water taps will be available across the site for refills and remember to sunscreen for the day and to bring a jacket for the evening when the Maitland chill hits the paddock!
