Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival in Sydney

Just For Laughs – the Montreal comedy festival that ranks among the biggest in the world – continues to enhance its Australian presence with JUST FOR LAUGHS SYDNEY. Now in its fifth year, the festival – which has attracted some of the biggest names in the world such as John Cleese and Louis CK – is proud to bring another star-studded lineup including international headliners Russell Brand and Danny Bhoy.
Staged across seven nights, Just For Laughs is the perfect format for those dabbling in live comedy, and for those who want to absorb some of the best acts from around the world. Feature standalone shows give fans the opportunity to spend an evening with their favourite comedian, while other events deliver the audience a taste of different styles through showcase events featuring a number of comedy talents.
The great news is that there is even more opportunity for a hilarious night out with the announcement of the Just For Laughs Stand-Up Series. Featuring a slew of Aussie talent, Dave Thornton returns for a third year to host three evenings of comedy with Cal Wilson, Hannah Gadsby, Joel Creasey, Tom Ballard, Anne Edmonds, Damien Power, Tommy Little and many more. Finally, the All-Star Gala will bring together many of the festival’s stars for a single show with rapid-fire comedy from some of the the world’s best.
